IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HEAR about it, the first thing you’ll probably want to know is where I was born, and what my lousy childhood was like, and why I’m ripping off the first line in “The Catcher in the Rye” to introduce myself. The next thing you’ll want to know is what I have to show for 20-some years as a Writer/Creative Director in the ad business, and whether I’ve worked at agencies like Y&R and DDB Chicago, and if I have category experience in package goods, retail, beer, banking, healthcare, hospitality and more, and whether I've led teams and steered strategy in the creation of award-winning integrated campaigns for brands like Sears, Kraft, Anheuser-Busch, Miller Coors, Quaker, Qwest, Marriott, Hyatt, Hoover, Fellowes, BMO Harris, Northwestern Medicine, Adventist Hospitals, Rutgers Health, DePaul University and the Michigan Ross School of Business.

Next, you’ll probably want to know the personal stuff, in which case I suggest you call my Mom at 312-779-5461. She's more forthcoming with the details I tend to gloss over — the good hair, teeth and bone structure, the MBA, the Evans Scholarship, heck, even the whole cross-country thing.
